MaishaERP Privacy Policy

Information we process

MaishaERP processes account details such as name and email address, company workspace information, authentication and security records, and the business records users choose to enter — customers, invoices, stock, purchases, staff and accounting entries. Basic device, browser, IP address and activity information may be processed to secure and operate the service.

Device permissions used by the mobile app

The MaishaERP mobile app asks for the following device permissions. Each one is optional, is requested only at the moment you use the matching feature, and the app remains usable if you decline. You can withdraw any of them at any time in your device settings (on iPhone: Settings > MaishaERP; on Android: Settings > Apps > MaishaERP > Permissions).

Files and photo library — only when you choose to attach a file or image to a record, such as a receipt, delivery note or product photo. The app can access only the items you select. Images may carry location information saved by your camera; we do not read, use or store that information, and the app never requests your position.

Camera — the iPhone version declares camera access because the file-picker component it uses requires that declaration in order to run. MaishaERP itself never opens the camera and records no photo, video or audio.

Location — the iPhone version likewise declares a location string because the same file-picker component requires it. MaishaERP never requests, reads or stores your position.

Fingerprint, Face ID and biometrics — only if you choose to turn on quick unlock. It is an optional convenience offered after a normal email and password sign-in, and is never the only way in. Biometric data is held by your device’s operating system, is never shared with us, and we never see or store it.

The app does not request access to your contacts, calendar, health data, microphone or Bluetooth, and contains no advertising, analytics or tracking software. We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Withdrawing consent

You may withdraw any device permission at any time in your device settings without losing access to your account. To withdraw consent for processing altogether, use Delete account in the app (Account > Delete account), or the form at maishaerp.com/account-deletion.php, or contact info@maishaerp.com.

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate users, provide the requested business functions, keep authorized workspaces in sync, enforce roles and module access, prevent abuse, support users and maintain reliability. MaishaERP does not sell personal information and does not use it for advertising.

Maisha AI

Questions asked of Maisha AI, together with the records needed to answer them, are sent to the AI provider MaishaERP uses so that a reply can be generated. A request only ever covers the workspace it was asked from; one workspace cannot see or ask about another. Maisha AI is provided by MaishaERP — a workspace supplies no key of its own and pays no provider directly.

Sharing and storage

Information may be processed by our hosting, email and security providers only as needed to deliver the service. We require every such provider, and any parent, subsidiary or related entity with access to user data, to provide the same or equal protection of that data as described in this policy. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with advertising networks, analytics services or data brokers. Data is retained while an account is active and for as long as reasonably necessary for security, legal, tax, accounting and dispute obligations.

Your controls

Authorized users can update workspace information at any time. You may request access, correction or deletion of your account and associated personal data. Workspace and financial records may require owner verification, or may be subject to lawful retention.
